Dad has worked with US companies in Kabul, Afghanistan since 2006 in different positions and his last job was office manager. Mom is full time parent of their one year old son. Dad worked as a IT specialist with the US Embassy and mom was a pharmacist in Afghanistan! Their most urgent needs are laptops to continue their career paths here, household items and some items for their little boy.
Welcome Wahidi family! This family of 6 arrived from Afghaistan in August of 2021 and resettled in Sacramento, CA. They have two girls- ages 7 and 9, and 2 boys- ages 1 and 5 years old. Dad was a translator for the US Army in Afghanistan. They are in need of clothing (via the Visa gift cards) for the kids, as well as technology for learning, and some household items.
Meet the Seddeqi family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in September of 2021 and resettled in Sacramento. They are a husband and wife with an new baby on the way! Dad was a Senior Cultural Advisor for the US Army, and grew up in a very academic family. He enjoys learning and is happy to raise his new bahy in his new home. One of his favorite books is the Guiness Book of World Records!
