Dad worked in Combat Medic with US Army back in Afghanistan! Mom has started English classes through our SANAH program. Dad worked as an engineer back home and is now working as an assembler while Mom is eager to attend English classes. Both children are in school and are excited to be living in the United States. Dad has worked with US companies in Kabul, Afghanistan since 2006 in different positions and his last job was office manager. Mom is full time parent of their one year old son. Their most urgent needs are household items and things for the baby.

Welcome Wahidi family! This family of 6 arrived from Afghaistan in August of 2021 and resettled in Sacramento, CA. They have two girls- ages 7 and 9, and 2 boys- ages 1 and 5 years old. Dad was a translator for the US Army in Afghanistan. They are in need of clothing (via the Visa gift cards) for the kids, as well as technology for learning, and some household items.

Rahimi used to work in the Machinery Operation Section in US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan and has found the same type of work for a company in Sacramento, CA. The couple is missing their families but are optimistic about starting a new life here!

Meet the Ahmadi family from Afghanistan! They arrived in the U.S. in February of 2021 and resettled in Carmichael. 70 year old mom and her two daughters who are in their 30s were able to come here together and are so thankful to have one another. The daughters are enrolled in english courses and have been able to find part time work as well. Their most urgent needs are laptops and household items to rebuild their lives here.

Dad was contractor manager in one of the US companies in Afghanistan, and mom has been a full time parent, as they have 2 boys age 3 and 5. They are so happy to be here and are appreciative of th support!

Welcome Hamidi Family! Mom, Dad and infant son arrived in August of 2021. Dad served with the US Embassy and USAID as a project manager for over 6 years.
